Keyboard shortcuts
Bindings depend on the active tool, context, plugins, and your saved settings. Use the running application’s action list as the authority for the build you have installed.
Inspect and change a binding
Section titled “Inspect and change a binding”In the upstream baseline:
- Open Edit → Tool Options.
- Select Key Bindings.
- Find the action by name and plugin.
- Select it and enter the intended key combination.
- Check for conflicts, then apply and test it in the right context.
You can also press F4 while hovering a menu item or toolbar icon to edit that action’s binding in the upstream UI. Some system actions have restrictions to prevent conflicts; menu navigation keys have their own rules.
A useful personal map
Section titled “A useful personal map”| Action to configure | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Navigate to an address | Move from an external note to the program |
| Follow a reference | Trace data and control flow |
| Rename a symbol | Record a supported interpretation |
| Edit a comment | Preserve evidence and uncertainty |
| Open the Decompiler | Compare representations |
This table intentionally lists actions rather than promising a global shortcut for each. VERIFY action names and default bindings in Opcodex once its tool configuration is released. Record custom bindings alongside your tool settings when sharing a workflow.
