C-to-language conversion
The planned extension takes decompiled C-like output and helps create a starting point in Java, Python, Rust, Go, or C#. It cannot recover the original source language or promise a compiling, behaviorally equivalent program.
Review requirements
Section titled “Review requirements”Conversion must account for integer widths, signedness, overflow, pointers, aliasing, allocation, calling conventions, and external functions. A language with managed memory does not have a direct substitute for every machine-level operation.
Review one small function first. Preserve the source function address and sample identity with the result. Compile only in an appropriate test environment, then compare behavior using known inputs and edge cases. A successful compilation does not establish equivalence.
Release checklist
Section titled “Release checklist”- VERIFY language and runtime targets supported by the actual extension.
- VERIFY how unresolved types and external calls are represented.
- VERIFY whether output is previewed, saved, or added to a project.
- VERIFY local/cloud processing, explicit upload approval, and retention.
- VERIFY error handling for large or incomplete functions.
See Source skeleton export for the separate planned export feature and Decompiler for interpreting the input.
