What is Opcodex?
Opcodex is an independent fork of Ghidra focused on interface improvements and optional extensions. It keeps the existing decompiler, disassembler, program database, loaders, and processors.
Can I download it today?
Development is underway. The Download Community link in the editions section opens the Community repository’s Releases page. If no release is listed, there is no packaged Opcodex build yet; the source is available to explore.
Is Community free and open source?
Yes. Community follows the Apache 2.0 open-source model, with the upstream notices and separately licensed components preserved. Planned Pro extensions will be licensed separately.
Does my analysis leave my machine?
The project’s policy is local-first. Any feature that sends binaries or analysis data to a cloud service must require explicit opt-in and document what is sent. Planned AI integrations are not available yet.
When will Pro be available?
The six Pro workflows are on the roadmap with no announced release date. Indicative pricing is about $149/year for Pro and $749/year for Enterprise, billed annually. License scope, updates and support terms will be published before release. There is no checkout or payment collection on this website.
Does Opcodex replace the analysis engine?
No. The focus is the interface, integration, and extensions. The underlying analysis engine remains Ghidra’s.
